On-Device — Encrypted by Default
No collection, no storage: Solid Invoice never collects or stores user or client data on our servers. Your invoices, quotes, clients, expenses, and settings live on your device — not on ours.
Encrypted at rest: Your data remains encrypted by the operating system on-device. If a device is lost or stolen, Solid Invoice data is unreadable to an attacker without the owner’s device passcode/biometrics.
Trust-No-One sync (optional): When sync is enabled, Solid Invoice uses TNO principles and pre-egress encryption — data is encrypted before it leaves the device. What reaches iCloud is scrambled; even Apple only sees ciphertext.
Exports with intent: When you export unencrypted files (e.g., CSV/PDF), Solid Invoice requires explicit confirmation (and may require authentication) so you stay in control of where sensitive data goes.
Bottom line: Responsibility and control belong to the user. Solid Invoice provides the tools to do the right things with your data — the control stays with you.
